I spent a lot of time researching different static-site generators, but ultimately <a href="https://www.jeffgeerling.com/blog/2026/migrating-13000-comments-from-drupal-to-hugo/">Jeff Geerling</a>&rsquo;s migration blog post convinced me to try out Hugo. I could have used <a href="https://svelte.dev/">sveltejs</a>, but this seems easier. <ul> <li>I&rsquo;m going to try out the <a href="https://github.com/panr/hugo-theme-terminal">terminal</a> theme.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Hosting is on Cloudflare pages. It works well for another my <a href="https://www.running-routes.com">project</a> and I don&rsquo;t have to think about it. <ul> <li>There is a straight-forward guide on the Hugo <a href="https://gohugo.io/host-and-deploy/host-on-cloudflare/">website</a>.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Editing markdown documents using <a href="https://neovim.io/">Neovim</a> with the <a href="https://github.com/nvim-lua/kickstart.nvim">kickstart.nvim</a> configuration. My vim-fu has plataued after using vim for over 10 years&hellip;</li> <li>Writing this on a Macbook Air M2. One of my favourite pieces of tech over the last 5 years.</li> </ul>
